PIPE CREW

A pipe crew performs essential functions in construction, particularly focused on the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, with a significant emphasis on safety, teamwork, and adherence to project specifications. These crews operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, excavators, and compactors.
Typical Roles
Laborers – Support tasks such as digging, setting up material lifts, compacting soil, maintaining job site cleanliness and learning the skills to become a pipe layer.
Pipe Layers – Responsible for laying and setting pipe and ensuring they are aligned correctly.
Foremen – Oversee the daily operations and management of the pipe crew. They have extensive knowledge and experience in their field and are experts at reading architectural plans.
